Candice Mausner

About This Project

Candice MausnerĀ is New York and Toronto based actress, she has worked and trained in both places. She completed the Two-Year conservatory program, graduating in June 2015.

Candice first made her way onto the small screen at age 12 and has since appeared in a wide range of commercials and TV shows such a Forensic Factor (Discovery), Mealtime Mayhem (Tricon), and Working the Engels (NBC & Global). She can be caught on the big screen starring in festival favorite Surviving Crooked Lake, Boom Headshot!, My Ex-Ex, and Hunting Season.

She made her stage debut in the Canadian premiere of Rebecca Gilman’s guttural play, The Glory of Living, at Sterling Studio Theatre (SST), followed by the lead role in Adam Hunter Collier’s original one-act, Nine Months is Just an Arbitrary Number (SST). She has worked with SST as their media liaison throughout 2013 as well as having stage-managed their productions of Tennessee William’s Interior : Panic, Diane Flack’s By A Thread and Tim Murphy’s Kuwaiti Moonshine.

Essential teachers / mentors of hers include Terry Knickerbocker, Sophie Ann Rooney, Nancy Mayans, Ted Morin, Lewis Baumander and Ben Ratner.
