Julie Asriyan

About This Project

Julie Asriyan is co-creator and co-producer of Casting Call, The Project. A multi-cultural and multi-lingual actor, writer, director and producer from NYC by way of many corners of the world. She is a graduate of the prestigious William Esper Studio in NYC where she studied under Terry Knickerbocker. Julie is a New York Innovative Theater Awards nominee for Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role for her work in Israel Horovitz Beirut Rocks and The Bump. She has also received acknowledgment for her writing, having had her work Souls on Parade performed at Theatre Row.

She is the producer and creative director of multiple music videos for her sister and creative partner Kristina. With a background in dance, Julie’s recent projects include the personal explorative dance film From Eden which deals with the juxtaposition of purity & darkness, strength & weakness within us all.
