CASTING CALL | THE PROJECT aims to continue a conversation on the necessary representation of complex, dynamic and original female characters in TV and Film. We believe that by creating communities where women’s thoughts, feelings and experiences are valued, we can begin to generate new material by women writers, producers, filmmakers and actors. We find that in our support of one another, original content can be made — not through big budgets but by maximizing on individual skill sets and working together as a team.
CASTING CALL | THE PROJECT has received over 2.5 million views — going viral within the first 3 days of its release. What began between 3 friends in the NYC artistic community has expanded globally with coverage from over 25 major on-line publications.
Our next step is WOMEN + FILM | THE CONVERSATION, and we would love to extend the invitation to you to join us in the audience. To not just to have a conversation, but to let this be the conversation to inspire action. The one that ends talk and creates action.
